Maternity Session or Newborn Session? Maternity Photographer Orange NSW

Have you ever wondered if you should book a Maternity Session or a Newborn Session? Yes you can do both too! :) What if you can only do one? Which one should you choose?

Maternity sessions are just glorious! I really love to do them. I have been shooting maternity sessions now for about 10 years. All mums just glow in their session. It is a very special time to have these images taken - to remember the anticipation and excitement leading up to the birth of your newest family member. Momentos to pass on to your children. We don't get to dress up often so this is a really fun session. I'll bring along my collection of crowns, jewellery, sashes as well as the dresses you choose from my collection.

Here is a small sample of some of the dresses I have available - There are over 40 to choose from in my extensive and gorgeous wardrobe! Which one would you like to wear? The full collection is here if you want to check them out.....

You can also include your Hubby or children in your maternity session. I can help you work out the best colour shirt for boys/men to wear that will match in with the dresses. If hubby doesn't know if he wants to be in the photo - maybe ask him if he would just be in one photo! Its such a beautiful keepsake image to have and for baby to have and treasure of mum and dad when older. I promise I"ll make it as painless for him as possible!

When is the Best time for a Maternity session ????

Anytime from 28-34 weeks is good. It really depends on the size of your bump and which of my dresses you wish to wear. I'd really recommend before 34 weeks if you can or 36 at the latest - so that you are able to move around and post. That nice time when your belly is nice and round (Ps i can 'fix" it in photoshop a bit if baby decides to be in some weird position for the shoot! 😂).

Having said that, I have photographed a mum at 39 weeks and she gave birth the next day!!! 😬😍. All in a days work!

Did you really want to have a maternity session but you missed out for some reason? Did you know that in my Newborn/Family sessions you can still wear my beautiful dresses.

In my Newborn/Family sessions I concentrate on images with mum and dad as well with baby. These are super special images to have and keep.

Apart from the MIni packages, the rest of my Photography packages all come with printed and matted images - beautifully boxed in a keepsake, velveteen lined box.
